AllianceHealth Clinton receives four-star rating from Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services

Clinton, Okla. (January 3, 2018) — AllianceHealth Clinton is one of only 946 hospitals out of more than 3,600 across the country that has been rated a four-star hospital by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) on its Hospital Compare website.
According to CMS, the intent of the Hospital Compare website and the star ratings is to help patients and their families learn about the quality of hospitals and compare facilities in their area. The goal is also to help patients be better equipped to ask important questions about quality of care when visiting a hospital or other health care provider.

AllianceHealth Clinton exceeded the national average in Patient Experience; Emergency Department; Inpatient Influenza Immunization; Heart Failure Mortality; Readmissions for Pneumonia and Stroke; Mammography Follow- up Rates; Perinatal Care Antenatal Steroids and Health Care-Associated Bloodstream infections in Newborns; Patient Safety Indicators for Pressure Ulcer, Latrogenic Pneumothorax, and In-Hospital fall with Hip fracture.
In a survey of patients’ experiences, AllianceHealth Clinton ranked above the Oklahoma and national averages in communication with nurses, communication with physicians, help received quickly, pain controlled, discharge information, and overall Hospital rating.
